The mesmerizing “Kusikus” pattern—which translates to “whirlwind”—is native to the coastal Ilocos region of the Philippines. It has been used since the 1500s to protect ships by confounding and rerouting evil spirits, and can be draped on any surface in your home for the same purpose. The Luna II comes in Denim Blue/White.
These beautiful textiles, designed as small lightweight rugs, make great table runners or wall hangings as well.
100% Filipino Cotton. Machine washable, or spot clean as necessary. Handwoven in the Philippines by an all-women’s weaver collective.
with fringe: length: 35", width: 25"
