Full-time Store Manager, Portsmouth, NH

About us: JUDITH is a shop offering women's contemporary clothing, accessories & special objects. We opened our first store in April 2014 in Portland, Maine's historic Old Port and we’re thrilled to be launching a new location in Portsmouth this fall. 

The opportunity: This is a unique opportunity to be part of JUDITH’s first new location outside of Portland, Maine. You will be a key player in launching the store, growing our team, and ensuring the long-term success of this location. 

The role: As the Store Manager, you will:

• Support the launch of the Portsmouth, NH store
• Represent and support the work of our designer partners
• Build and develop long-term client relationships based on trust and extraordinary customer service
• Support, develop and manage a team of sales associates
• Manage day-to-day business operations including receiving and inventory management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a leader in a retail environment focused on quality, design, and customer service. Experience fitting and styling our designer category a plus
• Ready to learn and champion our designers, our philosophy, and our processes
• Track record of retaining and developing employees
• Track record of developing long-term customer relationships
• You are accountable, proactive, organized, and communicative
• Prepared to work full-time (5 days a week, including Saturdays)

• Willing and able to travel to Portland on occasion for training, team building, special events etc.
